Goodwill by Austin Davis

She’s the kind of girl
that can make
a sunhat
from Goodwill
look like a veil,

especially when
the cornflower ribbon
matches the waves
on her dress

and she’s twirling
to the chorus
of Forever between
the silver aisles.
