Clouds by Howie Good

It’s late in the day,
and the clouds
are mischievously shaped

like swan boats,
ripples on a pond,
like a face whose once dear details
I’m trying to remember

and can’t.

Howie Good is the author of two new poetry collections, The Death Row Shuffle (Finishing Line Press, 2020) and The Trouble with Being Born (Ethel Micro-Press, 2020).
