Anything but "Wonderwall" by Alexandra Grunberg

You sound like a bad decision
but at least you aren’t singing “Wonderwall”
I always was a sucker for talent
and a smile that might turn mean

You shouldn’t be taking this as a compliment
or an invitation, as much as a self-condemnation
but if you ask, “who wants to hear another”
don’t pay attention when I roll my eyes
